Not a lot to report tonight. This morning I walked down to the Parque Las Carolinas, the big park. I ran 5 miles on the track there. I didn’t really notice the altitude directly. I wasn’t any shorter of breath than I usually am while running. And I didn’t have any chest pains. But, my pace was slower, even though I felt the effort level was similar to the 5 mile runs I’ve been doing at home lately. It was a dark and cloudy day all day. But there were lots of soccer games going on at the park, several inside the nearly 800 meter track.

Then I crawled back up to my hotel. I barely made it. I had to take a nap after I showered. I couldn’t believe how tired I was.

In the middle of the afternoon, I walked back to my favorite restaurant, Traditions. There, I picked the paella, and it was outstanding!!!

Even so, I had to bring half of it home. Of course my very tall bottle of Pilsener and my glass of sangria took up some tummy space.

Then I walked to the supermarket to get some items for tomorrow’s extravaganza - I’ve got quite a plan. I could barely make the 1 mile uphill to my hotel. I am exhausted. I’ve got to rest up!!!

Tomorrow is going to be a really, really big shew.
